Walid has started his carrier as a seismic data processor in WeternGeco since 1997, during he managed to perform so many 3D/2D marine/land seismic data processing. And he transferred to WesternGeco-Kuwait center to perform data processing projects for KOC. In 2003, Walid has been moved to Rashid Petroleum Company – Egypt and worked as Area Geophysicist for West Delta Deep Marine – Mediterranean offshore Egypt operated by BG. He managed build a full field study for Scarab-Saffron fields from seismic data acquisitions/processing, structure/stratigraphic interpretation to well planning and optimization followed by four wells drilling with COS of 98%. In 2010, Walid has joined Sonangol – Angola and worked as Area Geophysicist for Block-05 & Block-02 offshore Atlantic Ocean. He managed to perform leads inventory and prospects maturation for the un-discovered. zones. In 2012, Walid has joined seismic reservoir characterization team in SLB-Cairo-Egypt. Since that time, he performed lots of seismic reservoir characterization projects of conventional and unconventional reservoirs either standalone or in joint filed exploration/development plan studies within Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Yeman, Qatar, India, Pakistan, Malesia, Philippine, North-Africa-Alegria & West Africa.
