Mr. Ibrahim Rajab has over 25 years’ experience in reservoir simulation, engineering and evaluation of reservoir performance including gas injection and optimization. He has been responsible for reservoir monitoring of various oil and gas fields in the Western Desert of Egypt (carbonate and sand reservoirs). He has conducted several reservoir simulation studies in Egypt using Eclipse and has developed simulation models to evaluate pressure maintenance by applying water and gas injection. He is versed in pressure transient analysis, decline curve analysis using Oilfield Manager (OFM) and material balance. He has designed and supervised workover and recompletion activities, including additional perforation, water and gas shutoff. He has also conducted conventional and special core analysis and flow unit characterization. Mr. Ragab earned his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University in 1997.
