Hesham Elshamy is an experienced Head of Sector for Oil & Gas within Africa, Middle East & Asia, with a demonstrated history of working in the O&G industry. Skilled in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Oilfield. Strong business development professional with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Hesham has over 15 years’ working experience that spans from Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Sales and Business Development in the O&G and Energy sector. Hesham possess the required knowledge to support Aggreko’s clients in optimizing their Total Cost Of Energy (TCOE) and enhance their Energy Efficiency for their current assets in place As part of his duties to support O&G companies. Hesham is a team member of Energy Efficiency committee in Egypt for O&G companies. Recently Hesham supported one of our IOC clients in Egypt to utilize their flare gas and reduce their emissions, with total savings $25millions per annum. Hesham starts his career at downstream refinery as a process engineer, which gave him the required experience to understand the gas quality and the added value from utilizing the same in power generation. Afterward, he moved for a new challenge with Baker Hughes at the upstream sector, which he held several positions ends up the journey as Sr. Account Manager for New Technologies to enhance client’s production. Hesham joined Aggreko as a BDM in 2017, and he is currently hold the position as a Head of Oil & Gas sector for AMEA, supporting our client for their power demand and optimizing their TCOE.
