Dr. Essa Georges Lwisa is an expert in core analysis, rock properties, formation evaluation, and enhanced oil recovery. He had worked at the United Arab Emirates University- Chemical and Petroleum Engineering department since 2009 till 2023 as a core analysis lab instructor, before that he worked at Core Laboratories International BV, Abu Dhabi as a Core Analysis engineer for five years.
Dr. Lwisa also is a technical assessor at Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS), in addition to that, he has been working as a trainer and auditor for the following standers: (ISO/IEC 17025:2017), (ISO 45001:2018), (ISO 9001:2015), (ISO 14001:2015)

Far from engineering, Essa is a co-founder and a lead player at the United Arab Emirates University Music Orchestra.
