Subsurface Sr. Geophysicist with 18 years of total experience, throughout several well-known oil & gas companies (Spectrum Geopex Ltd Co. (Now TGS), Melrose/El Mansoura Pet. Co., Petroceltic International Co., Energean International, Promote Energy Co., then Lecturer of Geoscience at FUE, and finally joined EGAS in 2020 and still present).

Dr. Mohamed Hussein holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology/Geophysics (Ain Shams University, 2003), Master degree in geophysics (Helwan University, 2010) and Ph.D. (Cairo University, 2020).

Dr. Mohamed Hussein’s professional experience in the oil industry focused on seismic interpretation, prospect generation able to perform the entire cycle from witnessing acquisition, and processing until the data arrives. Upon arrival, he would perform the complete workflow from data loading and validations, well-to-seismic tie, structural and stratigraphic framework construction, velocity modeling, reservoir characterization and different seismic attributes maps generation and lead capturing and prospect maturation up to delivering well proposals putting me in a confident zone to perform required tasks on time and with high precision.
