These categories reflect the urgent need for universal access to cleaner, more secure energy, highlighting credible solutions that inspire meaningful change and transformative progress for humanity's betterment.

Nominees and winners of the EGYPES Energy Awards are recognised as pioneering leaders making headlines and catalysing significant advancements in the energy sector, contributing invaluable efforts toward achieving net-zero goals.

BEST HEALTH AND SAFETY PROJECT OF THE YEAR

This award acknowledges excellence in safeguarding lives and the environment across the energy value chain-upstream, midstream, and downstream. It highlights projects that demonstrate exceptional health and safety practices, including energy transition initiatives, ensuring the well-being of workers and communities while meeting industry benchmarks.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE PROJECT OF THE YEAR

Recognising superior performance in operational efficiency, this award celebrates projects in fields, plants, or refineries that optimise processes, reduce costs, enhance reliability, and uphold sustainability. It honors teams and initiatives setting new standards in operational excellence across the energy sector.

YOUNG ENERGY PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

This award celebrates next-generation leadership and talent in the energy industry. Recognising rising stars-both male and female-who exemplify innovation, ambition, and leadership, it honors young professionals driving change, contributing to impactful projects, and inspiring the future of energy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Nominations to be submitted by a company representative.
  • Any company can submit multiple entries.
  • These are yearly awards, and the 2025 edition will recognise projects completed within 2024-2025.
  • The Jury will only consider projects that have already been completed (i.e. not ideas or suggestions).
  • All entries should be submitted in written English. Any entry submitted in a different language will not be considered.
  • Please do not submit the same entry more than once.
  • If an entry is submitted multiple times, the most recent entry will be considered, with previous entries being deleted.
  • There are no associated fees to submit entries/submissions process.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

  • IMPACT & OUTCOMES (50%)
    Evaluate how the project or individual initiative has achieved measurable results.

  • INNOVATION & ORIGINALITY (20%)
    Highlight the originality of the project or individual initiative.

  • DELIVERY EXCELLENCE (20%)
    Assess how well the project or initiative was executed.

  • SCALABILITY AND INDUSTRY IMPACT (10%)
    Evaluate the potential for the project or initiative to be scaled or replicated across the energy sector.
